Rick Koch founded CenTex Centrifuge in 2007. Starting out at Bird Machine, Rick was hired as a welder’s assistant and worked his way up to lead all aspects of manufacturing and rebuilding of horizontal decanters. He was then employed by Hutchison Hayes and then Derrick Equipment where he gained valuable experience.
In the early 1990’s, Rick was approached by some investors and he started Southwest Centrifuge Services. After several years of success, South-West Centrifuge was purchased by National Oilwell Varco (NOV).
In 2007, Rick left NOV to start CenTex Centrifuge as an authorized repair facility. As CenTex’s reputation for quality and reliability increased, CenTex began expanding from repairs into rentals, new manufacturing, and parts.
Jeremy Files joined the CenTex team in 2012 and helped to grow the company. In 2015, Jeremy was named the President of CenTex Centrifuge and continues to serve in this capacity today.
